International Day for Tolerance

In Poland

Our pupils took part in a debate: Does technology foster or challenge the technology? There were such strong arguments for both statements that it was impossible to settle the discussion. That is why we prepared the presentation afterwards which can be reached here:

Celebrating The International Day for Tolerance - Debate on “How technology fosters or challenges tolerance"

Our students took part in a dynamic and thought-provoking debate exploring how modern technology can both promote and challenge tolerance in our society. This activity was organized as part of our ongoing Erasmus+ project and aimed to develop critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and digital awareness among young people.
During the debate, students discussed:
  • How online platforms connect people from different cultures
  • The role of technology in promoting empathy and open dialogue
  • The risks of misinformation and online hate
  • Ways we can use digital tools responsibly to build a more tolerant world

Theatre with a Message

On 28 November the incredibly talented students from Liceul de Arte "V.Giuleanu" visited our high school, Colegiul Economic, and delivered a powerful theatre performance as part of our ongoing awareness campaign on smartphone addiction, launched in late October.
Through thoughtful scenes and expressive acting, they highlighted how easily we can disconnect from real life when screens take over—and how important it is to stay present, aware, and connected to those around us. Their performance sparked reflection and meaningful conversations among all who attended.
